I guess it would make sense if we could verify if running samsung disks running in a readynas are also affected by this problem. I also wonder if ahci/ncq is used by the nas-os or if they run in ide. I didn't notice any data-loss in the past few weeks, so currently I don't like the idea to patch my hds.
Did somebody already run the patch? How about the x-raid afterwards? All data still there or wiped off?
