System Volume Information Folder - Ready NAS

Question

I have a Ready NAS 100NAS.&nbsp; My assistant accidentally moved files into the "System Volume Information" folder.&nbsp; I tried moving them back by cut and paste without luck.&nbsp; I can copy and paste, but cannot delete the files out of the System Volume Information folder once I do.&nbsp; How do I move the file back to its original location in a way that there is not a duplicate of it in the System Volume Information Folder?&nbsp;&nbsp; Thank you&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Is this&nbsp;

in a share on the NAS internal drives?
on a USB disk connected to the disk?
in an iSCSI LUN on the LAN?

Not by default.&nbsp; It's a Windows structure, not used by ReadyNAS (which used linux).
&nbsp;
Normally you are access the NAS using file explorer or finder to reach either a share or an iSCSI LUN.
&nbsp;
Do you know which?&nbsp; If not, is the person who set up the NAS still available?

You are trying to move the files with Windows, or with the NAS GUI?&nbsp; If with Windows, then Windows is going to stop you from doing that in what I considers a system folder.&nbsp; See if this helps:&nbsp;https://neosmart.net/wiki/how-to-gain-access-to-the-system-volume-information-folder/&nbsp;.&nbsp;You can definitely move the files via SSH into the NAS.&nbsp; I'm not sure about using the NAS GUI since it's an invisible folder in Windows.
