System Volume Information Folder - Ready NAS
I have a Ready NAS 100NAS. My assistant accidentally moved files into the "System Volume Information" folder. I tried moving them back by cut and paste without luck. I can copy and paste, but cannot delete the files out of the System Volume Information folder once I do. How do I move the file back to its original location in a way that there is not a duplicate of it in the System Volume Information Folder?
Thank you

Is this
- in a share on the NAS internal drives?
- on a USB disk connected to the disk?
- in an iSCSI LUN on the LAN?

a Share on an external drive that is on the network

The System Volume Information folder is on the Ready NAS

Not by default. It's a Windows structure, not used by ReadyNAS (which used linux).
Normally you are access the NAS using file explorer or finder to reach either a share or an iSCSI LUN.
Do you know which? If not, is the person who set up the NAS still available?
