Ultra 2 probs, can't find it and it doesn't go down to idle!

My ReadyNAS Ultra 2 ended suddenly act in the middle of a movie that I watched. Now I can't find it, either with Raidar or in my router.
The lights that shine are the network lights and the light that indicates that the device is on.
The "Raidar LED Legend" does not shine. It is green a few seconds when I'm restarting the device. Then, after a few seconds, the lamp is totally dead.
The manual says "Not present - No disk or device attached."
Also the fan won't go down to idle. It is somewhere between "full speed" and idle. It's like the nas get stuck at startup or something.
Can I do something about it by my self or do I need to send it in? I hope someone can help me with this.

- Sounds like a disk has died. If you can, attach each disk from the Duo to a PC (one at a time is OK) and run the HDD vendor supplied diagnostics utilities to be sure
