Nice. Did the drives fit fine in the drive trays or did you have to leave a tab out or modify the tray to get the drive to fit? Do note that if you run into issues using drives outside the compatibility list then support may refuse to help. So if you are using the NAS for primary storage it is even more important than it would be otherwise to backup your data regularly.

i had to remove the black plastic interior guide of the tray, but then they fit right in.

They are pricy though, so I don't think many users would consider them.

iirc, isn't one required to remove the plastic guide depending on if it is 2.5" or 3.5" drive? i seem to recall that from the instructions.

Unless I'm seeing something, it looks like this drive is now in the HCL... but it's showing up as 6TB despite being described as He8 and having the correct model number. A typo that someone might be able to correct?

Edit: Nevermind... I missed the 6 vs 8 in the model number. Not sure why He8 would have 6TB :) But the model is definitely different upon closer inspection. ;)
