Unexpected enclosure status detected
I have been getting these messages (below) over the past two days. Between 3-5am. The NAS is inside my stored RV with no heat and it has been colder than normal 18-20F lowest temps. But I am getting over heat alarms. And shuts down. When I reboot everything is normal. I feel these are false alarms and may be related to the cold temps. I have had this ready NAS operating in the same location for about 3 years without issue. All 4 the same WD 2GB drives - Ready NAS NV+ V1
To me its obviously not getting to 500F when its 20 degrees outside.
Emails that pretty much match the logs.

Disk on channel 2 reports a temperature of 255C / 491F.
Disk on channel 4 reports a temperature of 255C / 491F.
Please shutdown the system immediately for service.

- Marto731Aspirantjljeeper,
This looks like a chassis fault. Can you open a support ticket, details below.
Can you attach NAS logs, (Status > Logs > Download all logs ),
for Tech Support analysis.
You may be able to recalibrate Temp reading, under Volume settings.
Regards, Marto - jljeeperTutorThank you Marto I have opened a case
Your Case No. is : 20345831
