Upgrading from ReadyNAS N102 to a 202

I'm thinking of replacing my N102 with a 202 and I would like to know if I can just remove my HDD's, 2 @ 3TB, from the N102 and install them in the 202.

Do I need to worry about data loss?

Thanks in advance

  • Hi 1793,

Both are running on same architecture so it should be fine. Just ensure the RN202 unit runs the same 6.4.1 Firmware. It would be much better if you will backup all the important data  before you move it to the new unit.

    Kind regards,
