I suspect you have an NV+ v1 (running 4.1.x firmware). You can confirm that here: http://www.rnasguide.com/2012/01/09/how ... -or-nv-v2/
Don't just go by the labels.
Anyway, if I am correct, then you will need a new NAS to get more capacity. 2 TB drives are the biggest that the v1 will recognize.
