WD10EADS with NV+
Hi, I have an old NV+ that is about to run out of space, I have a spare WD10EADS laying around, has anyone ever tried this drive with the NV+? it's not on the official compatibility list but I'd hate...
There are three posts about the WD10EADS in the Community Hardware Compatibilty List CHCL for WD Hard Drives. One had no problems, but was running it in a Pro, not a sparc based model. One listed LCL problems with it in the Duo (same operating system as an NV+) and the third just had links to the EADS line in general (WDxxEADS) having LCL issues.
I would advise against it. If you do use it, make sure you keep your complete backup current.
