I just put the two into a brand new Pro 2 and it came up in RAIDar as corrupt root. I seem to remember having the same problem with a new Duo last month using these same HDDs (without altering the idle as I was not aware of the problem then). After a lot of restarts, resets etc. I finally got the Duo to work with these HDDs and since the duo has worked correctly. I will however check out the logs to see if it is encountering a lot of error counts.
