Update.
After sending my logs to tech support they couldn't find the problem so they wanted me to take the drive out, reformat it and put it back in. I just received my second drive which is the same as the first one. I hooked it up to my pc, formatted it, ran data lifeguard diagnostics on it and installed it in the Duo. Same error. I went ahead and put the original drive back in and it is now synching with the new one.
