Why dual nic on Ultra?
I have seen that the ultra cannot do nic teaming. Is this true? If yes, why the dual nic ports on the back?

The processor is fast enough to do teaming, but you'd get the automatic failover benefit (if you choose an appropriate mode). You're not going to see a performance benefit from teaming on an Ultra/Ultra Plus, unless it's an Ultra 6 Plus. Even then you'd need multiple client devices to see a performance benefit.
What protocol are you using to copy the files?
What version of RAIDiator?
What brand and model disks are in the Ultra 6?
