Will this UPS work with the ReadyNAS?

Thanks for the welcome, mdgm! Thanks for the info too. The suppliers will provide the adapters to change those kettle outputs into something more useful. What I was planning to do is, as you say, is connect the USB from the UPS to the to the ReadyNAS and then connect the RS232 from the UPS to the PC in order for the control software to run. Does that sound right?
At the moment I have my trusty Belkin UPS which has been great but the battery has gone and it doesn't work with the ReadyNAS. The battery is far too expensive and I can get a reconditioned APC with a new battery for not much more.
