This was with the nas connected directly to my comp. No router in the way. When I try the readynas remote config it says it is online and able to see the ip that is assigned. When you try to use the connect to readynas option it opens my docs. Per your advice I disabled jumbo frames and there was no change. Also this isn't a case of slow connection or transfer speeds.
