Wow now that is a nice interface
Readynas is OK! The only thing that lacks is a really cool and nowadays interface. the new 3.0 interface of synology nases blows me away. I just like i am in windows. http://www.synology.com/...

This feature request definitely doesn't get my vote, we now have 14+ ReadyNAS's in the field and we've not used FrontView for well over a year. It's actually the very first thing we completely strip out of the NAS before we ship it to our clients.
We developed our own automated configuration tools, so NetGear spending any time and money to spruce up the interface will get heavy criticism from my camp @ The Mac Experts. There are many more important aspects for them to concentrate on, as these devices are really a Prosumer/Business device and not targeted for Mum and Pop. Yes, the interface should "work" and any show-stoppers should be fixed immediately but this is a device that favours function over form.
Honestly, if Netgear focused their attention on a pretty interface I would likely start evaluating other manufactures products as Netgear focus would have seriously shifted.
P.S. Some of the examples of a "nice" interface in here are horrible, sure they "look" pretty but some of us do work over slow links, text consoles and GSM connections.
