"Connection Failed" message on Transmission Web Interface
Transmission 1.73 had been working fine (on Safari browser 4.0.3 and Firefox) until today when I keep on getting ""Connection Failed" Could not connect to server. You may need to reload the page to reconnect." When I clicked on details it shows Server not responding. No matter how many times I've tried to refresh, reboot (Duo), reset router still get the same message. I've noticed that Transmission is still working in a background (router activity light and act light on Duo brink rapidly).
I just update to Transmission 1.73 and same thing still happens.
I have no problem accessing to Frontview which has the same IP address.
Please help. Thanks.

Yes, Transmission in Frontview is running (with green dot is on).
I am not keen on technical aspect so I don't know what to check... here's the setting:

I did try to access using WinXP with IE 8. Same result - no access to Transmission but Frontview is ok.
Thanks. - super_poussinVirtuoso1) your rpc-usernmae is empty it should contain something (by default admin)
2) the port is 9091 not 8181
3) rpc-withelist should be set as * not 127.0.0.1
4) umask is normaly set to 0 - DarwinianAspirant

I did what you've suggested. It worked.
Thank you super-poussin. :worship: - SnodlanderAspirantWow, something weird just happened.
I've been having issues with my ReadyNAS NV+ losing connectivity and narrowed it down to the PHP and Transmission add-ons (I think)
So I uninstalled them both then reinstalled Transmission and checked the Settings.Json file - it looked very normal.
Then I added PHP and found I couldn't access the Transmission interface.
I rechecked the Settings.Json file and found the following default settings:
{
"alt-speed-down": 50,
"alt-speed-enabled": false,
"alt-speed-time-begin": 540,
"alt-speed-time-day": 127,

I see that this issue can be resolved by changing the settings but I am curious as to why these have suddenly become the default settings? - SnodlanderAspirantSigh!
I just made the changes that you suggested in the previous post and could get into Transmission fine.
I then changed the "peer-limit-per-torrent" setting to 240 as I wanted to download a single torrent as quick as possible.
All was fine for a couple of minutes and then... I lost all connectivity to my NV+
The lights were all on and it looked OK but there was absolutely no Ping response.
I now have to power cycle via the power button and try and resolve.
If you can think of anything that may be causing this problem, or better still a solution to it, I would be very keen to hear about it.
Many Thanks.
OK, so just an update.
I changed the "peer-limit-per-torrent" setting back to 60 and it worked fine for about 6 minutes or so and then the same problem again, no connectivity, no Ping response.
HELP!!!! - DarwinianAspirantSnodlander, what version do you use? The current version is 1.75 for Duo and NV+.
viewtopic.php?f=47&t=24271 - SnodlanderAspirantUsing version 1.75 of Transmission
version 1.1 of PHP
and running version 4.1.6 of RAIDiator
