Really sorry for the delay, I couldn't use the machine during last week...
I partially solved the problem, fixing a missing library with apt-get install -f: now I'm able to install new apps.
However no changes in the sudo apt-get update problem...
I have installed: Gateone (but I'm thinking to remove it, I can use terminal...), Transmisison, PHPMyAdmin and (now) Monsta FTP Client.
My sources.list:

deb http://apt.readynas.com/packages/readynasos 6.4.2 updates apps main
deb http://mirrors.kernel.org/debian wheezy main
deb http://security.debian.org/ wheezy/updates main
Thank you very much!

I see you are running the anti-virus service. Could you disable this under System > Settings > Services and see what difference this makes?

I'm really sorry! I didn't see your previous message!
I tryed to apt-get update stopping the AV and the result is this:
W: GPG error: https://deb.nodesource.com wheezy InRelease: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY 1655A0AB68576280 W: Failed to fetch http://www.bchemnet.com/suldr/dists/debian/InRelease Unable to find expected entry 'extra/binary-armhf/Packages' in Release file (Wrong sources.list entry or malformed file) W: Failed to fetch https://deb.nodesource.com/node_0.10/dists/wheezy/main/binary-armel/Packages HttpError404 E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.
It seems to me the same, however they are probably minor flaws, I suppose I could survive with them...
The main issue (App installation) is solved, I could write [ALMOST SOLVED] in the topid and close the thread... :smileyvery-happy:
ThanX
Daniele
