WMS5316 impossible to ad WNDAP350
hello
i having the following issue on my WMS5316 :
when i try to add a new WNDAP350 i have the following message :
Only 16 Access Points allowed in Managed List
I only have 10 AP's listed in use, and that matches my network setup
is there a way to get over this fals error message ?
Kind regards
Hi Adejong,
You'll probably have to do it after operation hours, the AP's will reboot once they are updated.
If you need more assistance, will be happy to help.
Thanks,

Hello Adejong,
Welcome to the community!
I understand you are having some issues to your WMS5316, let me see if I can help you out. I'll be needing some information and questions for us to isolate your issue, I have listed them below:
1. FW version of the WMS5316.
2. FW version of the WNDAP350.
3. Did you try rebooting the WMS5316 before adding the AP.
4. Are you using Auto Discovery or IP discovery?
I'll look forward to your response.
Thanks,

hello
Thanks for reply,
A simple reboot solved the problem, but it is not a thing we can usually do in a production environment.
This is why i was looking for another solution ...
the FW of WMS5316 is 2.1.4.15
for the WNDAP350 it is V2.1.8
I used IP discovery
Kind regards

Hello Adejong,
Alright, I am glad the reboot fixed the issue. I have looked at our reported bugs and did find something related to your issue, I believe this is not an isolated case. My suggestion for now is to update the firmware of the WMS5316 to version 2.1.5. You can download the latest firmware on this link.
Looking forward to your update.
Thanks,
