iPhone/iPad charging (ReadyNAS Duo/NV+ v2)
If you want to charge with the ReadyNAS (tested on NV+ v2) you’ll have to install the code from here: https://github.com/mkorenkov/ipad_charge/
First off, you need to have installed EnableRootSSH and to have logged in via SSH. Then type:
And the next time you plug your iPad/iPhone into a USB socket on your ReadyNAS, it’ll start charging!
I wonder if this could be packaged up? it'd be a really useful add-on.

- chirpaLuminaryInteresting software. I could see the need on the iPad, where it draws more current than many USB ports put out by default.
I already charge my iPhone daily off a ReadyNAS, without any software needed. If I have photo backup enabled (USB Storage tab), I believe it also tries to copy my Camera Roll off also.
