NasMon v3.2 - cannot load one of the three pages.

Hello All

My installation of Nasmon v3.2 (http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=21184) is working, but one of its pages will not load. Why?

My ReadNAS Duo has the most recent image (from memory it was released in September 2011):
ReadyNAS Duo [X-RAID]
Firmware: RAIDiator 4.1.8 [1.00a043]
Memory: 256 MB [2.5-3-3-7]
IPv4 address:: 192.168.1.10
Volume C: Online, X-RAID, 2 disks, 61% of 925 GB used

Regarding Nasmon:
http://192.168.1.10/nasmon/phpsysinfo/index.php works OK
http://192.168.1.10/nasmon/nasinfo.php also loads and works OK

http://192.168.1.10/nasmon/ doesn't work OK - it just gets me a page which asks for an email address and password. Hitting "login" twice drops me to another page titled "loadAVG upgrade" , and a box therein saying "Upgrade complete. For security reasons, you should delete the install directory from your httpdocs folder". A button marked " go to graphs" takes me back to the page asking for the email&password info.

I've searched this forum and a few other online sources but not found an answer. I have carried out instruction as per elsewhere in this forum, but to no avail. Am I doing something stupid?

1) I've cleared my browser cache (Firefox, running on Linux) and rebooted the PC
2) I've rebooted ReadyNAS via its admin page
3) PHP (v1.1) is clearly installed and working as is Nasmon - but for the page where the graphs are.
4) It's been running for 4 or 5 hours now - OK on the first two pages but still no joy on the last URL mentioned.
5) The only other add-on is one which came preinstalled (I think) - ReadyNAS photos or similar name

What do I do next please, bearing in mind I am not a linux expert and don't have root access to the Duo? Thanks in advance for any guidance.

  • Hello

Thanks for that URL - certainly useful and shows me where some of the problems might lie. I put the latest PHP on (v1.3) , just in case, but it didn't help.

However, it's a bit beyond me at the moment, to be editing scipts etc., because I don't know how to edit locations on the NASBox itself e.g.

    /c/webroot/loadavg/phpsysinfo/includes/xml/class.SimpleXMLExtended.inc.php

Time for some web searches to see if I can discern how to get at the Nasbox - (presumably that means being root on it though, which means no more warranty).
  • No - beyond me. Programming, or at least scripting - all stuff I don't understand. I'd best uninstall and stop fiddling lest I break something
