PhpMyAdmin 3.4.5 for Sparc

Hi

I bought the bundle with PHP 5.3.8 and PhpMyAdmin 3.4.8 (Bundle description says 3.4.8 but it is 3.4.5) and installed them on my Duo. http://readynasxtras.com/readynas-sparc-add-ons/bundles-sparc

When I run PhpMyadmin the configure part seems Ok but when I try to run "Use PhpMyAdmin" it complains that "mysqli" is missing.
In PHP5 that module is ticked and I have restarted several times.

I haven't encountered anything that doesn't work besides this.

Any clues on what can be wrong?

I'm quite new to this so I'm not sure what kind of info I need to provide. Please point me in the right direction and I'll try to get all info needed.

Thanks

/U

  • Hi

I forgot to write that Mysqlon is already installed.

Everythings seems to work just fine except that I can't use " use PhpMyAdmin".
I can run the configure part.

  • Have you re-installed the PHP5 addon?

Search the board here, and Stefan's site (WhoCares?) for his posts explaining how to try certain things to try get it working. Specific reinstall/remove order, and other tips. He helped me when I had errors with phpMA, but I'd already gone through most, if not all of his suggestions on solving the problem I was having. My issue was obviously a PEBCAK variant, because he remoted in, did everything I'd already done, it worked first time! :?

    PEBCAK = ProblemExistedBetweenChairAndKeyboard. :oops:

I'll have a quick search later for the posts of his I'm thinking of...

    Ok, shortedned breakdown.

    MySQL is ON.
Tried different browsers, caches cleared. (Firefix and Opera)
    PhP5 (yours) reinstalled.
    Removed PHPMA, reboot, install PHPMA.
    or
    Remove PHP5. Reboot. Install php5.
    Reinstall PHPMA.

    Thanks.

I just re-installed PHP5 and that was the trick. At least i don't get the same error anymore. Now I will start to investigate and see how it works.

    Thanks again
