RND2110 not able to create readynas remote account
Hi guys,
I'm trying to setup an RND2110. The ReadyNAS Remote addon is installed, but when I go to create an account and send a confirmation email, it never sends (I've tried 3 different email domains).
I was able to get readynas through a download link online but not sure how I can get it associated with this particular NAS device if I can't get the confirmation email/account setup.
Tried following the manual, but there wasn't much more info there.
Please help :)

- RXLuminaryIs your NAS directly connected to a router or a switch?
Have you check the DNS settings of the NAS? Try to set 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as the DNS servers.
What is the current firmware version of your NAS? - NhellieVirtuosoTry opening port 6300 on your router as well. Also, check this thread might help you out:

check out your spam and junk folders too. - kcomprepair1AspirantThanks. I did forward 6300 on the router, though when testing it from canyouseeme.org it didn't show (is it because I forwarded it to the NAS, so it wouldn't show as open testing from the computer?)

canyouseeme.org will show ports forwarded to the NAS as open. It is possible that your ISP is blocking it.kcomprepair wrote: Thanks. Would port 6300 prevent the email from sending? It did not come to junk/spam on either of the email addresses. If i'm correct, should I just be typing in the email address, clicking Add, then clicking send email above that?
- StephenBGuru - Experienced User6300 is just for the connection the the Readycloud server. It shouldn't directly interfere with the email transmission - but it's possible that the email isn't sent if the NAS isn't connected to ReadyCloud.

This particular nas doesn't let me change DNS as far as I can tell.
There is an ATT modem/router in bridge mode connected to an R6300v2 router. The modem is on the 192 subnet, and the router is on the 172. Canyouseeme reports that 80 and 443 ports are open, but does not see 6300, 20, 21 as being forwarded. I tried going into the ATT modem and setting the router as DMZ with no luck =/
Firmware is on 4.1.14 RAIDator - NhellieVirtuosoTo change the DNS go to
Network>Global Settings>DNS Settings
It semed like both your modem and router have private IP's? - StephenBGuru - Experienced UserI agree that you are double-routing, not really bridging. I have a similar configuration (Verizon router with 192.168.x.x addresses in front of a R6300v2 with 10.x.x.x addresses). What I've done is forward the ports I am using from the Verizon router to the R6300v2, and then forward again in the R6300v2.
On the DNS server, you can only change the DNS server if the NAS is set to use a static address. Otherwise you need to change the DNS in one of the routers (which will change the default DNS server for all devices). - kcomprepair1Aspirant

THanks to both of you again.
I have it setup so that the ATT router is DMZ'ing all traffic to the netgear. The nas is on a static ip but i'll look again for the DNS setting.
