ssh for Duo v2?

Just so i'm sure I understand, this is a change between v1 and v2? My backup is going from the ReadyNAS to ibackup using rsync. Ibackup's rsync server chokes on one of the parameters passed by the ReadyNAS. My solution with the v1 box was to just change its backup script so that it no longer included that parameter. Worked like a charm and I could still manage everything via the ReadyNAS interface (helpful because things like sending email notifications are all handled, etc). I want to do the same thing now with the v2 box (it is replacing the v1 box which now has a non-drive related hardware issue). It sounds like that will no longer be possible. Is that really the case?
