Are you saying you have data you want to preserve?&nbsp; Or that it is ok to destroy the data?

Unfortunately, it is also very much at risk, and might be lost. The error means that the NAS thinks the disks aren't formatted for ReadyNAS.&nbsp; This is possibly a problem with the OS partition.
&nbsp;
I suggest that the next step is to power down the NAS and remove disk 1.&nbsp; Then boot up Volume&nbsp;read-only from the boot menu and see if this helps. (booting up read-only is important, don't boot up normally).&nbsp; Instructions for doing this are on page 81 here:

If this gives the same error, then power down again, reinsert disk 1, and try doing an OS reinstall.&nbsp; Be careful not to do a factory default.

If both of these fail, then I think you will need to use RAID recovery software.
