I am having the exact same problem since upgrading to 4.2.22 on my Ultra 6: 3 disk failures in less than a week. Replaced the "dead" drives with brand new drives, they are reported "dead" within a couple of days.
Much head-scratching, re-syncing, etc, and the "dead" drives are back and working...for a couple of days. But, just now another of the once "dead" then "OK" drives just "died" again. I suspect after I remove and reinstall it, then re-sync it will be "OK" again.
Is there a way to downgrade to the previous version?
This NAS has (6) 2-TB Seagate ST2000DL003-9VT166 drives configured as X-RAID2.
