4.2.15: Backup Exec Job Rate Decrease
We're running Backup Exec 2010 locally on our Exchange 2003 server creating Full backups directly to a subfolder on a ReadyNAS share. Before the firmware upgrade, we were getting about a 1,447 to 1,561 MB/min rate. The last two nights since the update, it's down to 1,068 to 1,076 MB/min.
To me, that seems to be a significant drop in write throughput rate. I don't think we have any other way to measure performance before and after the firmware upgrade. We skipped the previous firmware update so I think we were on 4.2.9 before.
Has anyone else experienced something similar?

- pushpavsAspirantI understand your pain because I am in the same boat with slow backup and we are currently at 4.2.17 but I noticed the problem started at 4.2.15. I know there is a 4.2.19 but why are there so many versions in such a short time? Are they fixing bugs?
