Access Denied and other issues
Hello,
I am having an issue where I cannot copy files or create folders on the readynas 2120 over SMB. I also cannot create new shares, delete files, or whitelist IP addresses for access. The access is wide open for the machines on that subnet to access.
When I try to copy a file I get access denied.
When I delete a file on a folder it deletes but doesn't propagate over. I delete the file/folder in the web portal and it doesn't delete.
When I try to white list an IP address I get anothe error which I attached. There is 11gb on the home drive and another 3TB available for the shared folder.
Hi shadow3135,
It appears that the file system has gone ready-only. We cannot see on the logs what would have caused the issue. It will be best if you contact NETGEAR support so they can fix this. Please note that if the NAS is already beyond the support warranty, they might require you to purchase support contract or a pay-per-incident support.
Regards,

Do you have a quota set on the share?

We do. Its 10 TB. we have not met the quota yet and I cannot turn it off. It will not let me. The error I get is Commit failed. I added a screen shot.

You probably need Netgear's help on this one.
