After update firmware 6.4.0, RN10400 doesnt boot
Hi
On my RN10400 Nas, i was in 6.1.9 firmware.
I update to 6.4.0 using web interface.
After update, i accept msg asking for reboot NAS.
NAS doesnt respond any more and i have a msg connection loosed
After 12h, i cant access NAS, and i have msg "Booting" on lcd screen
I ve download the firmware, and tool for recovery firmware http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/answer_media/files/os6-recovery-tool.zip indicated in an other post https://community.netgear.com/t5/Using-your-ReadyNAS/RN104-Stuck-quot-Booting-quot-after-automatic-6-4-0-upgrade/m-p/990125
Following instruction, i prepare a USB stick 2go 2.0 with the tool and following files are present on root :
uImage-recovery
initrd-recovery.gz
NTGR_USBBOOT_INFO.txt
ReadyNASOS-6.4.0-arm.img
I shut down NAS unplunging power.
I plug usb stick in front panel usb conector
I power on NAS, and press backup button for more then 10s, one time during post, one time during msg "booting", but nothing happen ?
What solution for recovering my NAS grrrrrrrrrrr lol

It s necessary to proceed :
power off the nas by unplug power connector
insert usb stick in front panel
hold backup pressed
connect power to boot
After a few second i had message usb booting
later message usb recovery
after a few minuts, system shut down
i extract usb stick and power on, updating firmawre begin
after 15m i can log in and system is ok without loosing datas

Just for clarification, you should be holding the Backup button before turning on the unit since the boot menu is on power-on on these units, not after BIOS POST like the x86 boxes. I guess I should clarify that (only for the ARM units).
