Audit File and Folder access?
Does the Readynas 3100 (file server) support auditing for folder/file access on a Windows 2003 Domain?

You can make iSCSI LUNs bigger than 2TB(might want to make sure you're running the latest firmware).
And no, the ReadyNAS wouldn't need to be attached to the domain, because all of the authentication for data stored in the LUN would be handled via the Windows server hosting it for the clients on the network. There isn't really a downside at all except that backing up the ReadyNAS itself would involve a single huge file as opposed to smaller files. That's really not a disadvantage either, simply a difference in implementation.
