Blank web access page for Readynas 1500

Hello,

 

I have been trying to resurrect an old 1500 rack mount Netgear NAS. 

 

It "sort of" works. 

 

In RAIDar the model number is blank (I think this is a lost VPD or similar).

 

I have used the USB recovery method, used OS reinstall and FW re-install several times and still same result.

 

I can see the drives on the network but can not access the webpage to make changes.

 

I have read that the most likely issue is the VPD but I haven't read how to solve it.

    Only Netgear can fix it.

        Hi m8ken,

         

        Please set the NAS to Tech Support mode (see KB here on how to do so) and then send me the port number via private message. 

        Lastly, kindly provide the photo of the label with the model number.
