Browsing log files found this entry in cron.log.....

Hi

As the title says I was browsing my log files and found the following in cron.log which reports the event every minute

Can anyone explain this and or explain in detail how to rectify/stop it happening please

 

I am running OS 6.6.0 and have SSH enabled and do not have a power schedule apart from spindowns

    Hello bedlam1,

     

    What do you get when you execute this command:

     

    # ls -la /etc/cron.d/poweroff

      I think I self healed this following some googling after I posted here

      It now reads
      -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Nov 18 14:00 /etc/cron.d/poweroff

      having done that it no longer appears in cron.log

       

      previously (when I posted here) it was

      -rw-r--r-- 1 admin admin 0 Nov 18 14:00 /etc/cron.d/poweroff
