Can’t change permissions – “The parameter is incorrect”

Config backup was sent... issue is quickly growing here. Have done a full reboot and volume and quota scan since. Half tempted to remove from the domain and reattach it, but I've had the devices lose ALL their folder permissions when I've done that in the past, so I'm reluctant to do it this time. Lemme know if you have any input.
