cannot acces my nas in windows explorer after firmware update to 6.4.1
Hello,
Can anyone help me out please.
I have problems to acces my nas in windows explorer after updating the firmware to 6.4.1
I my browser ( google chrome ) its working normaly and i can acces my nas ass admin.
In windows explorer it says that the username or password not valid.
But i'm using the same username and password from the browser sing in.
Now i don't know what is the problem.
I also try to reset the admin password to default and change it to a new.
I configuration panel in windows reference i delete the reference so windows don't now the username and the password from the last seesion anymore.
I give in the new and the same thing happens.
I cannot gat acces to my nas from windows explorer.
My system info.
Core i7 4700K
32gb RAM
256gb SSD
1TB hadd
Windows 10
asus rog g750JH
Nas:
netgear readynas 202
2gb Ram
1.4ghz prossesor
2x Seagate Desktop hdd 4tb.
Please can anyone help me out.

Welcome to the community!
First, try checking the share permissions in the admin page. Check if the user account you are using is still allowed to access the share you are trying to open.
You may also try using the admin account that should have access to all the shares.
Lastly, try resetting permissions.

I have olready done the but the same things happens again even if give permissision to anyone.
Thanks for the solution but it does not work.
I'm going to make a copy of the data and reset the nas to factory default.

Hello Remko2106,
Maybe you can try accessing the NAS shares on another computer?
You also have free phone support still, if you can contact support center please do. But if it is easier for you to back up the data and reset, that's okay too.
We always strongly recommend to always have full backup.
