can't access dashboard
Hi
I have a readynas duo v2 with raidiator 5.3.6. I have had it about 1 week, and all was fine. I have not installed any add-ons.
However, I can no longer access the dashboard. The shares still work via explorer or dlna. Raidar reports the unit as working.
Ip address is fine. I have tried an os reinstall from the boot menu, but still no dashboard.
Any ideas?
many thanks
Mike

No I have not installed any add-ons or Genie Apps
Mike - RabbieAspirantI think maybe the apache process failed start up.
So we need login and have a check.
You can contact local support or PM to me. - tootallAspirantAll sorted now.
As I was able to access my shares, I copied all my data and then did a 'factory restore'.
Units came back online and update to 5.3.7., and I now have full access to the dashboard again.
Many Thanks to all who responded - p4c970AspirantHi Mike / All,
Sorry to hijack your thread, but I have exactly the same problem. DId you find out the issue with this? I have too much data to backup elsewhere, so the option of a factory reset is not really one for me.
I had Transmission, PlexMedia (not running), and SSH running on my NAS, but I did an OS Restore boot, and so have lost SSH. I can access all shares, ping, and RAIDar the NAS< just no dashboard. Before I reinstalled the OS, I tried launching the apache2 process, but it failed to launch.
Can anybody help?!
Thanks,
Graeme
UPDATE: It's working now! I don't know how or why, but it's come back to life. Coincidence I suppose. Sorry for wasting the thread's time.
