Continual drive failures in ReadyNAS Pro

Unfortunately, the NAS unit itself has been listing the drives as dead and can't resync the drive at that point. It'll usually start by throwing the SMART errors, then by the time the count gets between 400-500 count, the drive will fail and be listed as dead. Seatools can't even see the drive at that point. As many as I've sent back to Seagate, I would think they would have started charging if they were good drives. I have replaced every one of my 6 drives (a couple more than once) in the one NAS and about 4 in the other.
The NAS units are in our server NOC on a rack shelf on the other side of the room from the UPS units. The room is climate controlled, etc... so I don't think the environment is a factor. But your experience is interesting nonetheless. Weird that drives would fail on the side closest to the UPS.
