CPU temp increase since upgrade from 6.0.8 to 6.1.1
I recently upgraded an RN312 that was running 6.0.8 to 6.1.1. Since then, the average CPU temp has increased to approx. 47 deg C (used to be roughly 10 deg C lower). I've checked active processes that appear to be using more CPU time and stopped the APPGENIE service that appeared to be utilising the most CPU time (on and off) but this hasn't made a difference.
As a result of the increased CPU temp, the fan speed increases a lot more frequently and is very noticeable at times.
Has anyone else come across type of problem and any suggested fixes or better ways of monitoring cpu activity other than "top"?
I'm thinking of rolling back to 6.0.8 if all else fails (any issues in doing this)?

- Fan speed is a recognised issued that will be addressed in next release apparantly.

- jpcukAspirantThanks for the info. Is there any work-around that is known of or is the only option to downgrade/wait for the new firmware release?
- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredI don't think there is a work-around.
- jagabongoAspirantPls fix this asap!
