"Destination Folder Access Denied" ????

In process of updating firmware. In your opinion, are my problems related to one of the drives going? Some setting that I invariably messed up (I rarely go into frontview).
Assuming a drive needs to be replaced: How can I determine which one?
Also, I have a Seagate 1.5Tb (not on the list). Since I am out of warranty (NAS) and already own the drive ($0.0) -- I'd like to use it. How many problems am I asking for if I do use it (Others are Seagate 1Tb; other that I am not going to mirror 33% of the 'new' drive -- anything else or is this just a bad idea all the way around?
