Factory reset with no reset button #24223141
I'm trying to perform a factory reset on my SPARC NV+ but the reset button is physically damaged - any idea how to do the reset without being able to push the button? thanks…

The advice is to unformat them - either by deleting all partitions or by zeroing enough sectors so that the partition tables are erased.

But overall, yes - the NAS will do a factory install if the disks look "new". The OS is stored on the disks, so the kernel panic can't occur.
