Failed to create snapshot...
For unknown reasons, I am randomly getting "Failed to create snapshot ...." on my shares. I have never seen this before. It could be related to an in-progress scrub process but I am not sure.
Eventually the snapshot completes ok after another try. This started happening in the last week or so. Anybody else seeing this?
I am at 6.5 and have turned on readycloud, amazon drive sync, and installed Plex and crashplan.
thanks

Yes. Getting since upgrading to 6.5. We are doing hourly snapshots. Will get the message once or twice in a row, and just had 3 in a row over the last 3 hours.
Subject is:
ReadyNAS Alert Message (NasName Miscellaneous: Warning)
Message is:
Failed to create snapshot c_xxxx for share or LUN 'xxxxxxx'.

Hi StormCloud,
Which model are you using? And do you mean that after scrubbing the volume, the snapshot went fine again? You can also send us the logs so we can have a look at your system.
Kind regards,

I got them too (and posted it here). There is a collision with disk spindown - if you have that enabled, you'll need to disable it for now.
I only saw these errors with the new custom snapshot feature btw - I didn't see them with the "smart" snapshots.
