Folder Access Issue
I have a couple of folders on my readynas share that I can't seem to access they have a little white dash in a red circle on them, when i do getinfo on them it says I have read and write permission, ...
The "no entry" type symbol means that you do not have permission to access the contents of that folder. Seeing this symbol is a feature of the AFP protocol which is why you don't see it when accessing via CIFS (I don't *think* CIFs shows such symbols - but I'm not the most experienced with CIFS), however you likely still have the same permissions issue if you are connecting as the same user.
How to fix this will depend on your needs - as it appears there are other users of the NAS from your comments it is possible this restriction is intentional. Or are you the administrator/owner of the NAS? Would need to better understand your setup to assist fixing this (if in fact it needs fixing)
