I am accessing to organise folders and add more files.

I am using a Mac and chrome browser via the ip address. I know ftp access is easiar but how can I site that up on my Macbook and how to it get the webpage details etc.

    Hi vip_48

Are you trying to access the Admin page or the Shares through HTTP?

You may want to try to clear web cache, use Incognito/private browsing mode and a different browser. Also, connecting your NAS to the Internet and rebooting it and wait for a few minutes before trying to access the NAS might help.

    Regards

I think I am doing it via shared on http as I put the up address and then click on the nas image then click on the folder.
I have cleared cache on safari, chrome and Firefox no joy.
Also Nas is connected to router not to a computer.

Not to sound silly what is incognito??

Just looked up incognito mode, I will try it in private browser mode.

      Hi vip_48

Yes, you are accessing the Admin page. Please try to reboot your NAS as well before trying to access it again.

I agree with StephenB it would be better if you access the files using Finder. You can go to Finder>Go>Connect to Server>Enter server address.

This can be used to connect using SMB, AFP or NFS by entering the protocol then the IP of the NAS.

How do I access a ReadyNAS share with a Mac?

      Regards

Actually the simplest (and fastest) way to access the files is to use Finder.  The underlying protocol can be either AFP or SMB (and you can just enable both on the NAS).
