  • Have you tried to reboot it again?
Do you have a backup of all the stored in your NAS?
What is the current firmware version on your NAS?
What did you do on your NAS that make it require a reboot that led to the error msg: "Folder operation failed...."
  • Hi,
I tried the reboot. But it remains with this error.
I planed to update PLEX, which failed.
The error occurred with firmware 6.2.2 ... also installation of 6.2.3 did not solve the problem.

    any idea?
at my logs i have the following error:
Volume: System volume 'root' usage is 87 %. This condition should not occur in normal conditions. Please contact technical support.
  • Hi Ixa,
but do you think, that plex can kill the users permissions database and this will fix after an uninstallation? I would like to preserve my media library, but will check on this.
as this error has occured before moving to 6.2.3 i do not see any correlation with that beta firmware.

    regards,

    volker
  • Hi Ixa,
could it not be a problem of the snapshots?
I can browse around all settings, but when it comes to shares, or to timeline, the error is moving around $snapshot
  • Hi,
there are no files ... i think there remains a problem with the snapshots and rights... so i will factory reset the device... (after transferring 10TB of data)
