Folder problem with READYNAS backup to QNAP
Greetings:
I recently purchased a QNAP-671 to which I am trying to transfer all my files from my READYNAS316 by Rsync. I have done this previously between 2 x READYNAS devices without a hitch.
The problem at the moment relates to the Path. Here is the problem I am encountering:
Photo folder on READYNAS - Files to be transferred to QNAP Photo folder. Rsync Server setup on QNAP 2 way sync etc. All shares are enabled with sync enabled.
On READYNAS I input the destination folder as 'Photo' only. I tried all other combinations with/without slashes, including share and even full path with CACHEDEV1_DATA - they all kick up errors.
When the files sync, which they do, the QNAP creates a Photo folder inside the Photo folder (which then includes all the files) eg. /share/Photo/Photo/file1, file2 etc. I know I can then move them but this shouldn't be necessary.
I can't for the life of me work out why this is happening and am hoping someone can assist.
Thanks.

You need a forward slash in the path of the local share.
