- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserWe need more information.
-Is the NAS running this backup (e.g. frontview), or is it running on another machine?
-what are the source and destinations settings? Is the remote machine on your local LAN, if not where it is?
-Did it fail as soon as you upgraded to 4.1.14, or is it not related to the upgrade?
-Has any equipment changed on the network path between the local and remote machines? - WizballAspiranthi
I am using the frontview backup
sorce is a photo directoroy on the NAS destianation is a FTP site remote
I am not sure when it started to fail but I am sure when I set it up it was working
I have changed ISP but not sure why that woudl stop frontview ftp from working when I can ftp to the site in other ways.
Many thanks

Have you confirmed that the NAS can reach the internet generally? Perhaps check for a firmware update?
Do you have SSH installed on the NAS? - WizballAspirantI had to change the network a bit toget it to work some reason it was nto conencting to the net yet I coudl see it on my own network.
Radar still cannto see it on my network thought whihc is interesting
Many thanks - StephenBGuru - Experienced UserRAIDar uses broadcast packets for discovery. Some wifi setups won't forward them, so if you are using wifi on the PC perhaps see if that helps.
If the NAS is working on the LAN but isn't reaching the internet, the most common reason is an incorrect subnet mask or gateway address.
