Unknown units, can not connect
ReadyNAS Ultra2 Plus
RN OS 6.4.2-RC1
ReadyCLOUD 1.2.2 for Android 5.0
RN OS 6.4.2-RC1
ReadyCLOUD 1.2.2 for Android 5.0
Hi
Can't connect to ReadyCLOUD share anymore, was working fine on Friday 22 January.
When signed in I see 3 units of which 2 has my ReadyCLOUD username but marked as "Unknown".
The third unit has the local LAN name "nas-xx-xx-xx" and is marked as "Online".
The local unit is the only one I can access and I can get into the local shares
with local share privileges.
When selecting a ReadyCLOUD unit I only get endless "Connecting..." and "Updating...".
Having this problem with both local and cellular network.
Tested without luck to disable/enable ReadyCLOUD in RN setup and reinstall ReadyCLOUD in phone.
Regards,
Ulf

- Hi
My ReadyCLOUD-problem solved, I hope. I don't exactly know how it got fixed or
what caused the problem in first place but now all ReadyCLOUD access methods are
working and the previous missing Home shares are available. What I did was experimenting with combinations of Signing In/Out, removal of "Unknown" devices,
RN On/Off.One thing I noticed at times was that if a Home share is empty it was not visible.

Ulf

Please send me your logs (see the Sending Logs link in my sig)
- uffgnu14LuminaryHiI'm not that fond of starting over by resetting my RN right now.Just done a simple test.Reinstalled ReadyCLOUD app on my phone (including cache/data removal and restart).
This time I launched ReadyCLOUD and signed in with RN switched off (has been off since yesterday).
Still getting 2 ReadyCLOUD units (both same as my RC-user) as "Unknown" but the local "nas-xx-xx-xx"
unit is now "Offline".Should I see the local unit "nas-xx-xx-xx" when running as a ReadyCLOUD user?Problem with Netgears ReadCLOUD-server/app for mobile access?Regards,

I have been having the same problem for the past few days. I cannot get to my ReadyNAS 516 via my MacBook Pro from Starbucks. I've tried both Safari and Firefox. I'm able to get in to ReadyCloud, but then the gear keeps spinning once it shows the ReadyNAS icon.
Also, every time I log in to this site, once I enter my email and password, I have to create a new Username. I have at least a half dozen of them now, one for each time I've logged in since the change from the old system. How can I prevent this from forcing me to create a new user name each time I log in?
Thank you.
- uffgnu14LuminaryHiCan access RN with ReadyCLOUD Portal and Desktop client but not with Mobile client.
Noticed the strange thing that Home shares for all CLOUD users has disappeared, not there
in either local access and CLOUD access. Perhaps that is why Mobile access is not working?
Anyone else seeing this?Regards,

Hi uffgnu14,
I myself have experienced problems logging in yesterday through the desktop and mobile app. Have you installed the official 6.4.2 Firmware?
Kind regards,

- uffgnu14LuminaryHiUpgraded 6.4.2 RC1 to 6.4.2 on Feb 2 2016.With 6.4.2 I tried to remove/create the ReadyCLOUD accounts but that did not solve the missing home shares.
I have not tested creating a new account.Regards,

Hi uffgnu14,
It appears that it is working fine now. Portal, desktop and mobile app work as well as the ReadyCLOUD home share for ReadyCLOUD users. Not sure about the missing home shares but I will definitely check it with my colleagues or other members of the community.
Kind regards,
BrianL
NETGEAR Community TeamI'm glad to hear that someone is having success with ReadyCloud.
I still get "Currently you have no registered or shared devices." So ReadyCloud's still not working for me.
