Hardware Compatibility List Hard Disks
I just purchased a RND2000 I looked at the HARD DRIVE Compatibility List but I cant find any on that list can I use something else

- 500GB hard drives are very cheap. As even 2TB drives are reasonably cheap now higher capacity disks are the focus of testing of new disks.
You can use drives that aren't on the list, but it's not recommended. They may/may not work. Do have a read of the warning here: http://www.readynas.com/?page_id=82 - I understand but I went to Canada Computer and didn't find any HARD DRIVE that are on the list not even 1TB Drives?
