Help needed : Is it possible to do an incremental backup on my RN104 ?
Hello all !
I own a ReadyNas DUO since many years, and never had any problem using it.
But since I bought my new RN104 (firmware #6.2.5), I am totaly unable to do an incremental backup : it does full backups all the time ! :s
I wrote this backup task :
Source & Destination : They are good, because the full backup is working great !
Advanced : I didn't check none of these checkboxes
Planning : Activated <-- Checked / Do a backup all [24] hours / Between [1:05] and [2:05] / Days : All checked
Options : Program a full backup every [4 weeks] / Delete destination <-- Unchecked / Change properties of owner <-- Checked.
Unfortunately, even if this task is launched every day (as asked for), it does a full backup every day, and EVEN if the files are already onto destination (NAS disks), the full backup is launched ! :s
On my old ReadyNas DUO, if the files were already onto destination, it was ignoring these file, and was continuing to the next file...
Does a solution exists, to get the same behavior on my new RN104 (not to download the file again, if it already exists onto destination) ?
Thank you for your help, guys ! ;)
Regards,
Jojo

Hello,
What is your backup source/destination?
In case you are backing up from a Client PC to the ReadyNAS maybe the solution can be found here:
