Help Please - Firmware Upgrade
Hello, I have a Readynas Do V2 and received an email alst night saying that there is a firmware upgrade availbale and it is the last one for my machine. I logged into it and clicked check for updates and it said that I am running the latest firmware. The firmware is RAIDiator 5.3.11 however the email states that the firmware upgarde is V4.2.28? I am confussed. Can someone help please?

Netgear made a mistake in that email, and accidentally sent it to a wider audience than they should have.
They meant to send it to ultra and pro NAS owners, but swept in duo, nv+, duo v2, nv+ v2 as well.
FWIW, I didn't get it, and my pro-6 is registered.
Thanks for the response so my Ready Nas Duo v2 is not defunct?
It is my understanding that the email was sent to all users with End-Of-Life (EOL) ReadyNAS units regardless of whether the particular End of Life unit was one that runs 4.2.28 or not.
