How do I backup my datas from local remote system to NAS?

I am trying to backup my local system datas to NAS box but did not. Here are my backup job settings.

 

Source:

Type: remote

Name: remote: Windows/NAS (Timestamp)

Host: <local ip-192.168.1.1>

path: <local system sharing drive - D>

login: <local system username>

password: <local system password>

 

Destination:

type: share

name: share:<foldername>

host:

path:

login:

password:

 

schedule:

enable schedule: enabled

backup every: 24 hours

time: 00.05 to 23.05

 

But I can not backup files. It shows backup error message.

 

I am a new customer/user of Netgear ReadyNAS box. So can you someone answer my error.

    192.168.1.1 sounds like your router's IP address, not the PC.  Are you certain this is the correct IP address?

     

    Also, if you have a second PC you might want to see if you can access the shared D drive from there (using the same credentials).

     

    If not, you could use a mobile app to test access to the D drive - for example goodreader for IoS, or solid file explorer for Android.
