as you're new to the nas, can i make one suggestion for you so you don't make the same mistake i did, get another 1tb drive to put into the second slot so if one drive fails, your data is still backed up and safe on the other drive. I thought i'd backed up all my important data elsewhere, turns out i'm still missing thousands of irreplaceable photos, once my lass finds out i'm dead...
