How to bring back right click restore menu in Readynas duo v2 recycle bin

First, imagine my surprise when I went back in to restore a somehow mistakenly deleted file (which I distinctly remember 'COPYING' to another device, and not moving it), and the right click options for the file in the recycle bin were missing (the restore, cut, delete, nor properties check boxes don't show up, only the routine right click properties from windows explorer in win 7, even though the files are clearly visible there).  Recycle bin is active on both media and backup share when viewed in browser dashboard.  This is a Readynas duo v2, firmware 5.3.13

I've tried accessing the recycle bin via two other computers, using win 8.1 and 10 besides this win 7 computer.

All with the same result, unable to access the right click restore menu in the recycle bin. 

Yes, I do have backups for these files, but I wonder why this is happening all of a sudden. I've been using readynas duo NASs for years without this occurring.
